Albatross Meet - March 2014

March 18, 2014: GERM won the menís, womenís, and overall team titles at the Albatross Open last weekend. All 40 GERM swimmers contributed to the point totals.

Team records were set by individual swimmers in the following events: Emily Bosco (W35-39) 50 and 100m breast; Eleanor Landon-DíShen (W40-44) 50m back; Carole Valis (W45-49) 50m free; Terri Postma (W45-49) 200m fly; Chris Noonan-Sturm (W55-59) 100m free; Karen Cosgrove (W55-59) 200m breast; Linda Carter (W70-74) 50m free and back and 100m free and back; Thomas Finn (M18-24) 100m free and back and 50m fly; Jason George (M25-29) 200m breast; Gustavo Sandi (M40-44) 50 and 100m breast; Dan Thomas (M55-59) 50m free and 200m IM; Roger Golden (M70-74) 400m free; James Hillman (M70-74) 100m breast and 100m IM; and Bill Fisher (M75-79) 50 and 100m free.

We also set the following 5 relay team records: Mixed 200-239 200m free: Scott Golden, Denise Noznesky, Farol Tomson and Jeanne Lappin; Men 100-119 400m free: Dominik Van Der Veen, Kempsey Clark, Jonathan Smink and Finn; Men 200-239 400m free: Scott Golden, Greg Strouse, Chip Lagdon and Karl Wunderlich; Men 240-279 200m medley: Thomas, John Abbott, Mark Walters and Mike Osinski; Men 280-319 400m free: Hillman, David Robinson, Ken Wall and Tim Miller.
